St. Vincent De Pauls in Cincinnati:
SVDP in Cincinnati has daily sales that are unpredictable. Apparently not even the employees know what the sales will be for the week. When you walk into the front of the store, there will be a list of daily sales on the board. They also do daily tag sales: example 50% all red tags. Most stores have posters posted around the store with they daily tag sales so don't forget to look up! They also have a large $1.49 rack where everything is $1.49 no matter the day.Habitat for Humanity ReSotres in Cincinnati:

What I've found: Coach purses and other small, leather bags. Wide selection of women's blazers in good shape, variety of skirts, blouses and tank tops.
Pluses: The store has two dressing rooms, one dressing room, easy donnation drop-off and sufficent parking.
Drawback: During peak hours the check-out line gets rather long.

Pluses: Large amount of stock. The location makes it easy to stop in a for a quick look.
Drawbacks: For the size of the store two dressing rooms are not enough. They have four checkout lanes but usally only one or two are open. This can make checking out a lengthy process.

What I've found: Table cloth, mail sorter, end tables, pianos, rain jacket.
Pluses: Smaller store that's less crowed. Still excellent donations because of easy drop-off in the parking lot. They also have a loading dock, making it easy to buy furniture here. Four dressing rooms.
Drawbacks: Front parking lot can get a little crowded. Try the back one.

What I've found: Night stand, door stopper, Quilted chair, couch, pool lounger.
Plus: If you're not familiar with the ReStore you ought to be. This is where all the leftover material/furnture etc. is sold from building projects. From light fixtures to counter-tops, carpet squares and furniture, you can find almost anything household need. It's a great place to furnish a home!
Drawbacks: While the staff is very nice, they are unable to assist in moving furniture. There is no loading dock (at least that I've seen) so make sure to bring your friends!
