Dead Stock

  • Vintage clothing never worn, often sold with the original price tag.

Full

  • Refers to the shape of clothing, usually skirts. Hugs the waist and gradually flares out from the body, with the widest part at the hem.

High-Low

  • A hem on a shirt, dress or skirt that is high in the front and long in the back. It has also been referred to the mullet hem.  On a shirt this usually mean the hem hits at any point between the natural waist and hip length and hip length and below in the back.

Maxi

  • The longest length. It generally refers to hitting the ankles or below.

Midi

  • A middle length.  It generally refers calf length or below the knees and above the ankles. 

Print

  • Fabric that has a repetitive pattern.

Retro

  • Clothing that appears to be from another era, but is sold in current times.

Thrift List

  • A list of items you want, that have no time-frame attached, to be found at a thrift store.

Vintage

  • Items, usually clothing 20 years or older.
